Northeast Austin Homes For Sale

With the huge growth of high tech corporations like Dell, Samsung and Motorola, this once sparsely populated area is booming. Employees looking for a more relaxed rural setting and a short commute are drawn to the area for its convenience as well as the exemplary school district. There are many new homes in the area and it is reported that at least one hospital, a public university, a plethora of retail establishments and a $100M outlet mall are slated to open this decade between Interstate 35 and the future State Highway 130 (a major highway project currently in development). It is speculated that this area is in the fledgling stage of becoming a commercial, medical and higher education hub. Children living in Northeast Austin attend schools in the Austin Independent School District.
